i have a 2,5 x type at 3000 revs it starts to hunt and jump about a bit, have changed plugs coil pack and new gaskets still no change can any body help please!

Is the CEL on? If so have the OBD2 engine codes read. Hunting usually refers to the transmission shifting back forth between gears so you may have transmission issues. Check the fluid level and if you have not done so recently, change the ATF and filter.
