Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It only happens on the freeway, been going on for a year, if I turn the car off
during an episode for a few minutes and the engine & the warning lights go
away and it only happens on the freeway...Also, the tranny's sticking and
bucks and difficult to accelerate past 70, when I do the rpm's drop. I have
104k on the car, never had a tranny flush or tranny oil change of any kind

Amazing that car still runs- amazing! most of those Jags just blow up, even with maintenance- the trannys all go bad- and you run it hot, or it looks like it, and you just keep driving it- what can I say? what can any of us say, but.........AMAZING

The temp gauge is totally inaccurate on these cars, it only shows normal or blow-up. Get your thermostat checked. I have had mine 10 years and despite what people say it is low maintenance and a pleasure to drive and turns heads especially when on the throttle...
