Is this a stolen vehicle, because that would make sense. Are we going to help you defeat the security system today?

Provided you still have the original security code to go with the car there is no need to go to a stealership: http://members.home.nl/lhcats/disco%20immobiliser%20override.pdf

Disco 1 300 TDi parked-up and being used as as a shed/mailbox. It seemed a shame that its nice Yuasa battery had gone flat and was at risk of being ruined so a smart charger was connected up. BAD IDEA! To my great surprise many features started to come back to life. It then super-locked! I never knew it could do this as I only ever used the key and never the fob which is of course lost. IMHO the security systems on LR products do stop thieves but not in the way LR intended. The security systems prevent thieving by making the vehicles unreliable and worthless.
