1999 Land Rover Discovery SD hard to start, any ideas?

Hard to start even after it starts and runs for a while, replaced plugs and plug
wires and the fuel filter so far

if you have a long crank time, you might have bad injectors. have them tested. and test the fuel pressure.

whoa, if it has set that long, you may want to get rid of all that old fuel. get some fuel system cleaner etc. that fuel is probably sour.

I put seafoam in it hoping it would help plus some fresh fuel too. When I try to fill the tank it will splash the fuel back out like it cant breathe or something. Would some injector cleaner and heet help out with the fuel and injectors.
