Replace engine but don't start

Question type: General

hello a short time ago I replaced the engine to my land
rover lr3 2006 after that I do not want to start and placed
new chains of time and everything was properly done I do
not know what went wrong ?. someone who can help me
with this someone suggested to me that I deprogram
something the truth I do not know.

does it crank? Yes? If so start with the basics. Check for spark, fuel delivery and compression, ok? If so need to check crank to cam timing, be sure your intake and exhaust valves are closed when #1 cylinder is at TDC, if your engine is equipped with a distributor be sure rotor is pointing to #1 wire, if so check that distributor turns 360 and don’t slip on shaft. Check firing order
