2002 Borrego Edtion , How many are left?
Asked by borrego2002 May 04, 2015 at 09:22 PM about the 2002 Land Rover Range Rover 4.6 HSE 4WD
Question type: General
I have a 2002 Borrego Edition. I am trying to find some type of LR register of how many of this edition is still around. I found documentation that they produced 100 total. One for each LR dealership in NA. I see very few for sale. Is there something out there that may help?

Would you be interested in selling it?
Todd, I have an 02' Borrego willing to sell it. Give me a shout (drewlewis at mac.com) Drew
Drew Where are you located? What are the details on your Borrego, miles, condition etc?
I own one myself, and am aware of 3 that have been parted out, meaning at most there are 97 total left. Furthermore, I do know that one of the 97 (max) remaining carries a salvage title as it was on copart a few months back
I have one of the remaining 97. 105,000 miles. EAS rendered inactive (coil spring conversion). Needs the clear coat removed and reapplied. I have $54,000 in receipts from the original owner. Looking to sell. Proelants@yahoo.com
I bought this one in July of 2017. Super clean car. Getting some stuff done and will be on the road and like new by mid August.

Welcome Andy . I was hoping that Some where in our vin number that would show the answer to the build number. I recently turned over 130,000. And replaced all Lift bags because of a small leak. Did the 125000 service as LR has for its service on the RR. Any new updates of repairs to the above listings?

I have a 2002 Borrego for sale. Excellent condition. 50k miles. Just rebuilt entire air suspension. If interested, let me know.
Is your Borrego still available? If so, how do I reach you?
I have a beautiful two owner edition, i've loved it since 2004 with 24,000 miles. Today is have 134,000 and we have loved every mile of it. Very well cared for and still loved, but bought a new trailer and need a new truck to pull it.
I was very fortunate to buy the one in Michigan - really only 2 owners. I've been (slowly) fixing a lot of the mechanical issues (overheating, oil leaks, a/c leaks etc) and then this summer, the headlining and a cold weather issue with the amp on the HK sound system.
we put in a new headliner last winter, black, looks great. if we leave it outside and the temp drops below 40, the radio and nav won't work until it heats up the interior. we love it, wish it could pull our new Airstream, but it is a 1000 lbs more than it can handle.
Hello Dick, Are you interested in selling that Borrego? I might be interested. -Adam 401-602-6033
