car wont start

i have a 2004 range rover when i turn the key in the ignition the starter wont
stop turning and the vehicle wont start it has gas and the battery is good

If I am reading your question right if the starter is just spinning and not turning the engine over the starter needs to be replaced.

Oh dear, you have an old Range Rover- this is just the beginning- as your vehicle gets more and more bizarre, remember it is not possessed- by evil supernatural forces- it is just an old Range Rover- ya might wanna get rid of it-
