H3 FOB Shell Replacement

Asked by MADDOGH3 Jan 19, 2011 at 02:30 PM about the 2006 Hummer H3 4dr SUV 4WD

Question type: General

I have the original H3 FOB and it works but the key chain part is broken. I've seen just the shells for sale on E Bay. Does anyone know how hard it is to take it apart and just change the shell?

I've already done it and you sre totally wrong. You shouldn't respond on topics that you are not sure about. That is called an uneductated guess!

I ordered fob from remote superstore for 24 dollars. I removed it circuit board from the old to the new in 5 minutes. Don't take it to the dealer you can do it yourself too easy
