You have another choice as well some guy just showed us on the side of the road . Disconnect the negative from the battery you need two people for this as the negative is disconnected put the key in the ignition and hold to start position then put negative back down while other person is still holding key try this twice and success

I can tell you how to start your car but can't help with disconnecting the alarm. My key fob is toast also and I WILL NOT pay the prices they are asking to reprogram a new one... Open your door, And the alarm will sound. Sit in the driver's seat and insert.your key in the ignition and turn it to the ON POSISTITION...Then wait till the alarm stops. After the alarm stops, wait about 40seconds...Then turn the key to the start position and your Kia should start. If not, try waiting a little longer, maybe a minute before turning to the start position. I've been doing this for over a year and it's worked everytime. Good luck
