Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a kia rio 2007 and  when im riding my car it suddenly
shift down to 3rd gear i think and doesn't shift anymore.
Sometimes when  it does that i turn the car off then start
and it may start runner normally but most of the times it
will start running and the  shift to 3rd gear amd stay there.
What must i do ? I have changed the motor and
transmission fluid i have changed the filters i have changed
the sparkplugs and ignition coils and still does the same.
Please help me

Im going to try what you say thank you and ot doesn't show an engine light , any light i must say

Have one of these iny shop the transcontrol module is smoked black box 6x4x1 long wide thick underside of dash drivers side customer was told needed trans fluid was good and clean codes will say pressure control circuit A and B and shift solenoid open or shorted
