Brake light

Rear tail lights will not turn on. Brake lights will
come on when pedal is depressed

These are two separate circuits. I'd start with the fuses (look for "TAIL LIGHT" fuse). After that you have to use the process of elimination, but first you need a circuit diagram to know whats involved in your tail light (eg: headlight switch, alarm system, ignition switch ...). Good luck :-)
