Doesn't it mean traction control system? There either might be something wrong with the system if it's staying on, or you mightve accidentally turned it off which would turn the light on, or if it flashes you are not getting traction like on ice or something and it's trying to get traction.

It the traction control system. It's telling you the something is wrong with the speed sensors that tells the transmission to change gears. If not fix, it can mess up your transmission.
