2007 Lincoln MKZ driver seat stuck all the way retracted

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi i have a 07 MKZ with 106K miles. Last year around summer my seat
stopped working. I would replace the fuse then usually about 10-14 days
latter it would blow. I left it as is because it was pretty much in my natural
drivers position. Well yesterday i decided to put in a new fuse. The seats
worked then it retracted all the way back an got stuck there. Me an my dad
pulled the seats to check for any pinched or loose wiring. Put it back together
an no dice. The lumbar part of the seat does work. What could be the issue. I
greatly appreciate any help on this...Thanks!

Thanks for you help its very appreciated. It does click when i try to move the seats but dont hear the motor trying to do anything. I ordered a new switch box but not expecting to come to Friday. Im not sure if its the switches but at $30 i figured it was worth a try.
