Car wont start

Asked by StephanBallin Sep 21, 2016 at 11:39 PM about the 2001 Acura TL 3.2 FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I turn the key, I get power to lights, radio, and air but the
car will not start. No other sounds present to indicate, fuel
pump has engaged. No clicking indicating a problem with
starter or alternator. Also i was just driving the car a
momment ago and everything was fine. But when i turned
it off and tried to start it back up it wouldnt start or turn
over. It wouldn't even make the clicking sound. Even all of
the lights dont pop up like it do when it starts. What may it
be?

First, tray to start it from neutral vs parking, if still nothing, check voltage on battery, should read about 12.4vdc. If battery voltage is ok, check all battery cables for corrosion and make sure they're tight, if battery cables are ok, check starter relay in fuse box, if relay is ok, check starter

Sorry Guys, it is NOT the starter. I replaced my starter, my Alternator, & 5 Batteries. The HFL is draining the battery even after disconnecting it. There is a Class Action Lawsuit against Honda over this. We are sunk unless Honda makes good on this. Reports state that there are more electrical components in this vehicle than in a 747 Jet Plane. Good luck tracking the right one. I've have 6 garages try.
