Question type: Maintenance & Repair

until it warms up it hesitates and sputters a bit. going down the road it seems to cut out but not all the time. also when its cold out and I take off the rpms go way up almost like its in neutral then finally shifts into gear..  maybe new plugs and wires? hopefully not a tranny problem thanks

A tuneup might be what your engine needs. I would also use a good fuel system cleaner like Techron. If the CEL is on have the codes read and post them here.

that's what I was thinking as well thank you. there are no codes or engine light is not on. hopefully tune up and maybe fuelfilter change and cleaner will help?
