Yaris electrical Issues.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
The belt on my 2007 yaris went out today, the car was driven for several miles after this
happened. Replaced the belt, car started up fine but the radio, heat/ac, panel lights, tail
lights, and brake lights aren't working. Checked fuses and all seems fine. Any ideas?

I HAVE A 2007 YARIS S SEDAN AND SOMETHING SIMILAR HAPPENED,EXCEPT IT WASNT CAUSED BY THE BELT.IN MY CASE THE RADIO.HEATER/AC,POWER WINDOWS,POWER STEERING STOPPED FUNCTIONING.ALSO,COULDNT RELEASE PARKING.RESOLVED ONLY BY DISCONNECTING/CONNECTING BATTERY.STILL DONT KNOW WHY.TODAY IT HAPPENED AGAIN BUT MOMENTARILY.
driving to work this morning and the ABS light, water light comes on suddenly and the car at times will buck. Also at one time the dashboard display went out but it only lasted a second as with all the other issues.
Did you ever find out what it was because The same thing happened to my 2010 Toyota Yaris Recently
BGman333 you need to check the fuse case thats connected to the live cable on your battery. Only the dealer sells it. It's connected to the wire covered with a red plastic cover. If the fuse burns out. You will loose all electronics and power steering. Except for the ligh beams and hazard lights.
Did anyone try the above solution ? I am having the same issue and my car guy can’t find anything ?
I’m having the same problem. Did anybody fix it by changing the fuse box?
