even after replacing battery still shows low voltage on dash. it started in the beginning i shut if of and won't start again

2002 corvette with new battery started at first i turned it off and won't start again. same thing with old battery. shows
low voltage on dash.

Sounds like alternator. I Had similar problem recently with my 96 Corvette battery and it was the alternator a diode in it caused battery to die just sitting for about 2 days.

First Clean all your cable conections. A little dirty mess, can give you a faulty reading that will tell your gauges that no power is coming though. Don't forget at the starter.
