my 02 c5 only has 16,000 miles i keep a battery tender on it but this year every time i use it the clock resets to 8:13, i reset it, drive it but the next time i get in it's back to 8:13, my battery is about 6 or 8 years old i was going to change it and see if this solves the problem

I would change the battery. They only usually last a max of 5 years. I would say that's your issue.

Not a common problem but the few I found were in the module itself ... happens more often in hot weather than cold. The key to it being a module and not the battery is the reset time 8:13 ... if you lose power on your time it will reset to 12:00
