Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2000 Acura TL while driving on the
highway my car started slowing down , I smelled a
rubber smell, than I notice smoke. I pulled over
popped the hood and it was wet under the hood
and the smoke was coming from the right side only.
When I tried to drive it .. it seemed like it was trying
to switch gears but wouldn’t I don’t know what this
could be

It may have been something minor but driving it with a problem was the wrong thing to do . Coolant could have been from a bad water pump the rubber smell may have been from he water pump pulley seizing up and the belt rubbing on it .
