Dealer-installed AC to DX Civic Coupe

Asked by cigonzo Nov 06, 2007 at 10:39 PM about the 2007 Honda Civic Coupe DX

Question type: General

The local Honda dealer has a 2007 DX Coupe to which AC has been added at the dealer, not in the factory.
How good is dealer-installed AC?

I have not heard of any problems with dealer-installed AC. It should be covered under the same warranty as factory, since it was a dealer-installed option on the new vehicle. Most dealerships are required by the mfg. to have service techs who specialize in certain areas, so it's not like the guy on the lube rack would have halfassed your AC installation. I would be fine with this, myself.
