My 2007 Honda civic coupe won't pass inspection after 120 mile run post changing battery. Is there any thing else I can do except keep addkng mileage to it?
In 2016 my 2007 Honda civic coupe's battery went dead. After chaning the
bettry I ran one trip of 120 miles before take it for inspection few months after.
It didn't pass the inspection beecause battery was disconnected and auto shop
told me to take it out for a 60 miles run than bring it back. I did that in the
following weekend but it still won't pass inspection. The auto shop told me
some car only need 40~60 miles run to pass inspection but there was a case a
car took more than 1000 moles drive before passing inspection!! That's crazy! I
can't just keep taking my car out for a drive every week and go back to auto
shop to see if it will pass inspection. Please let me know if there is anything
else I can do to overcome this problem. The car drives fine. It's just that stupid
computer thingy won't kick in. Help!!
