86 Pontiac Fiero GT bogging down

The past couple days when I'm driving home and I press
the gas my car starts to bog down and then acts like it's
going to die but doesn't if I go slow maybe 20 miles an hour
my car is fine but if I push the gas it makes this bubble pop
noise and then the engine bogs down what should I do? My
Fiero 47000 miles original and the car so completely
original I have never had a problem I'm the second owner of
the car and I only drive it to and from college every day
approximately 25 miles a day

47,000 miles. Completely original. The popping comes from the tail pipe it seems. Sorry if the previous message sounded funny I was using talk to text.

I would suggest having the compressor checked out by mechanic unless you know how to do some mechanical stuff. It sounds like the compressor is starting to drag from either being vapor-locked (reed valve clogged or contaminants in the freon) which would fight the engine operation. Also check to see if your engine light is one.. A bad egr system will cause this too such as a leak in the exhaust bypass tube under the intake manifold.. also check to see what rpm is at idle (AC off).. do you hear any crazy sounds going on when AC on and is it cold? safest thing is hook up gauges on the compressor system if you have a set and know how to look...
