1976 buick 3.8 V-6 starts and idles fine all day. Put in drive warms up spits sputters backfire stalls. I have replace fuel pump fuel lines fuel filter, pcv valve, rplace coil, icm replaced, cleaned fuel tank. NOTHING! PLEASE HELP? Thank you

You have a bad accelerator pump. If you remove the air cleaner with engine off using a flash light. Look down the throat (venturi) move the gas pedal lever slowly and watch the gas shoot into the venturi. Should be 2 strong continuous streams without gaps or spitting. You should also do this fast with the same results. Replace cup with the new style blue ethanol safe rubber pump cup.
