Acura Integra 99' LS Brake's signal on and off

Asked by Joo Aug 07, 2015 at 11:16 AM about the 1999 Acura Integra LS Coupe FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I by no means have any knowledge in cars and this is my first car so i'm trying to see
whats wrong with it before i may have to take it to a shop..

Today when i turned on my car the brake signal was on which is weird since those
brakes are pretty new. they have only been installed a few months when i bought the
used car.. anyways the brake signal turned off each time i stepped on the brakes
(nothing felt wrong with the car besides the signal) the signal turned back on when i
was driving and eventually it turned off and it never came back on again.

can someone give me an idea of what could be wrong with it? I'm heading to work now
and i will see if the check light for the brakes will turn on again, i will inform it here if it
does or doesn't, thank you!

The brake signal didnt turn in this time when i was heading to work.

brake lights wired to constant? or bad brake signal switch believe on the back of petal or stop lamp switch fuse? if u tapped into a constant rather than a key fwd only power to them?
