Where is the oil filter on a 2007 toyota Highlander with a V6 3.5 liter engine.?

1) I think that engine is 3.3 ltr., No? 2) Locate the oil dipstick (yellow handle) which is located between the radiator and engine block. Look underneath the engine block approx. 6 inches to the right of where the dipstick enters the engine block. Filter is mounted on the side of the engine block

Under the Highlander there is a removable door that is held on with two 10mm screws . Remove these and remove the cover. Above this cover is the filter however you need to obtain a special filter wrench to allow you to remove the filter housing. The filter is a cartridge , not a spin on .
