2007 Toyota Highlander Timing Belt

Asked by OldCarJoe Apr 10, 2018 at 07:41 PM about the 2007 Toyota Highlander Limited V6 AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2007 3.3L V6 Highlander Gas with only 46k
miles on it. Given that the car is 11 yrs old should I
consider changing the timing belt or can I safely
wait until closer to 60,000 miles?

Timing belt should be replaced every 60,000 miles.I would take it to Toyota dealership and ask them to do the multi points inspection ,most of them will do it free or just pay them to do oil change and ask for that, make sure to tell them you want them to inspect the belt. I have 2002 highlander with 257,000 miles and still running.
