could have a bad cam sensor, or fuel pressure bleeding off and boiling in the rail causing vapor lock

What do I do about it besides don't let it idle... ?
It may be associated with hot underhood temps... id pop the hood and let it idle for however long u typically do with thr hood up and see if it still does it

Crank/cam sensor getting hot and having high resistance sounds more likely... when it wont start check if the car has spark from the coil
