I have 1999 acura tl over heating

Asked by Tony Mar 28, 2017 at 03:58 AM about the 1999 Acura TL 3.2 FWD

I change out the radiator after it got blow drove it
one day to work was fine next day it over heat
change out the thermostat and yes I put it mark the
correct way how the pin is up 12 o'clock . And my
heater now don't blow hot air and the bottom water
hoese not hot loke the top. Jack up the car and
redo the coolent again. But still over heat any help
thank you . And I test the thermostat  put it in hot
water and it open so can't be the thermostat I
think. And both part I change out at aftermarket
from autozone

You need to purge the cooling system from air pockets. Also the lower radiator hose will run cooler than the top radiator hose. Coolant from the engine flows up and out the top radiator hose into the radiator, and so the coolant cools down in the radiator and flows back into the engine from the lower radiator hose. I have exactly the same problem in my Acura TL 2004 but I replaced the water pump, the thermostat and the radiator cap. Still hi pressure in the sistem, normal temperature ( like 48%), Fans doesn’t start. If I remove the cap the coolant go out slowly. ( no bubbles ) Please help
