2007 chrysler town and country check engine light on

I just bought my car in may it has 80,000 plus miles and it was runnign fine I need to do an oil change but today the check engine light came on what should I do?

Go to your local auto parts and have the codes read. Then post back on here with the codes so we can help you fix the issues. It's not blinking is it?

If you go to autozone they will hook up their odb scan tool and tell you what codes they find, you can buy your own. I got mine at harbor frieght.

ok I will take it to auto zone in the morning they are closed now its not blinking and my oil change light dinged yesterday but I was waiting til tomorrow to do the oil change and I also checked the gas cap. thanks I will post tomorrow!

The code is P0404 something wrong with the gas I think what can I do
