Why is my truck stalling after it is cranked and put into any gear?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 4.8lt that stalled while I was driving. Thought it was the fuel pump, MAP, MAF, spark plugs and wires, the evaporator sensor, and TPS, but it is still idles rough and stalls. Any suggestions on what it could be?

I would start at the idle air control valve on your throttle body. It can be removed and cleaned, then reinstalled. After reinstalling, turn ignition key 4 times to run (do not start veh). That should reset the i.a.c. to default. Also check all the electrical connections at the throttle body.

That helped a lot, thank you. It is still sounding a little bit off but I figure my ecm is still learning.
