Hi! You have two routes to test your ECU: you can either physically pull out the ECU and examine it for obvious damage (many times there is a burn-out within the ECU itself) OR you can use a high powered diagnostic scanner than has the ability to test functionality for Acura. This is a pretty expensive scanner so if you do not have access to one, you'll need to take it to a shop. If you do determine that the ECU is bad, we would recommend looking at this company - MyAirbags.com. They can reprogram your ECU for cheaper than anyone else. Hope this helps.
