I have a 64 1/2 restored Mustang 170 cu in. If I was to sell what would be the best avenue?

You can try Craig's List but be prepared for all the lowballers, scammers and flippers that will tell you what a great car it is and with work it might be worth a couple of thousand. I would try Hemming's Motor news and do your research so that you know its value.

Autotrader is excellent for all cars, and it has thorough background checks, so most legitimate people will look on there over craigslist; I know I would. There are also websites specifically meant for classic cars; carandclassic is one of them. I would recommend a website intended for car sales, and a large and well known one. I wouldn't like looking for a car on Craigslist or Ebay, just because it has a lower chance of being legitimate.
If this is a true, "numbers matching" 64 1/2 you should contact one of the big auto auction companies as if it is in excellent restored condition, it is worth BIG MONEY! Check R&M, Mecom or Google auto auctions for a big listing.
