at the mechanic shop. I drove home, I got up and
want to work the next day. I drove to work and the
battery light came on. The next day the battery

been happening for the past 4 days. I lifted up the

Also have the battery checked. Possible short in a cell of the battery.

Sounds like the short could be a pinched battery cable somewhere between battery and starter, positive or negative. Brakes don't have anything to do with it but possibly pinched wire or something like that during the work you had done

I just put a new starter in and the battery Junction starter box is still running hot it's over 15 voltage

Almost sounds like the alternator is putting out too much voltage, which would be the voltage regulator for the alternator. At the battery if you check with a volt meter with the vehicle running, there should be from like 13.5 to 14.5 DCV.

I took my car in to a shop an the guy fixed it. He said the only thing he did was the post needed to be tighted so he cleaned the burned part off, put some lubrication on it and tightened the nuts. So I drove my car on the freeway and i pull over to test it my self the voltage is run at 13.99 to 14.29 its good to go:) happy happy happy

It was the positive side that he cleaned up, there was no corrosion just a bad connection
