Out paying bills today, got in my (automatic) car & it would not go forward. It will go in reverse & all the gears feel like they are engaging. Had to be towed home..disabled on fixed income can you help?

This is only issue I've had with car!

Thks I found out if you take transmission pan off there is a set of metal tubes that carry fluid - one of mine was broke but had to replace whole part. I had transmission man walk me through repair plus delivered part, fresh fluid & filter. I'm on the road again!

2006 Cobalt all of the sudden I lost power steering, cruise control, power windows, windshield wipers. The a air bag light came on and the middle of the display on the dashboard (I.e. where the check in light and seat belt light is) is out. The car has driven fine until I started this morning. Now my driver's side window is stuck down and it's barley drivable. I went to a Chevy dealership and they say all recalls on the car were fixed in 2014, oddly enough including the ignition, power steering, and air bag ... I asked why it was all broken again. I have a 2008 cobalt, and it only has forward gears. Reverse is not working, the car will jumps like it wants to work, but it doesn't. Any ideas of what this could be? 1 Answer

My car would rev up to 3 RPM if not higher at times before taking off in drive. I think my transmission was slipping before.

My cooling fan does not turn on. I hooked up wires to the fan and it turns on, I checked the fuse, the relay and put in a new sensor. It still will not turn on, even at 205 degrees. If I pull the wires out of the sensor it runs but won't turn off. 2 Answers

I checked the fuse, the relay, and put in a new sensor. The fan runs all of the time when I unplug the sensor but will not come on when I plug it back in no matter how hot it gets.

I have a 2008 Chevy Cobalt and I have put new brakes and rotors on this car 2 months ago and just this past Saturday I put in a new wheel hub bearing on passenger front.
