When did you get this car , was it in a flood ? When that kind of thing happens you should shut it down and take it to a shop or tow it home

Sounds like an error in the ECM's basic programming, has the vehicle been subject to any electrical surges like jump starting another vehicle or a recent battery replacement without the proper keep alive memory tools hooked up? Of course, check the basics first, battery cables, ground connections all over the vehicle especially computer and chassis grounds. If you still hit a wall, then it time for the pros to take a look.
