2007 Chevy colbalt

Earlier today I noticed something dangling from
the middle of my car it looks like a metal screw
attached to a different screw but the other one
came attached I don't know what happened and I
don't know what it is.

It looks to me like an exhaust hanger rusted off. Have a muffler shop tack weld in a new metal piece. Should be easy enough to fix.
