A lot of those issues are driver habits as well though. Question, did you ever replace your fuel filter?
sounds like you got a bad car. i love my balt. 20k miles and going strong. no problems. i am worried about the stearing cuz i have heard a few issues about it. but overall this car is holding up way better than any other car i have ever had. but i have the ss.
Nothing has gone wrong with m mother's 06 cobalt... I've driven it alot and haven't sent it in for repairs yet.
i have an 06 cobalt ss 4 door 78000 km an no problems the only thing that sux is brakes i think i must of changed them 4 times my ecu gave out about 6 moths back and i got a rich code but that was all me i put 94 you must of just got a bad one my friend as an a4 2008 its been in more times then i can count except mine cost 20000 less so no u dident make a mistake think about it could of been worst your gas could of got stock and you would of crashed into a wall !!!
i have heard at around 30-40k miles the struts start wearing a lil bit if ur an aggressive driver.. and my only complaint is that the stock rear brakes pretty much suck, they gouged and it only has 14k miles on it.. its an 08 SS/TC.. front brakes are totally fine tho
yeah at 30-40k your power steering will go out but if you go to safercar.gov and search for cobalt steering recall and print it out and take it to the dealership they will replace the part for free. Mine has had that problem and that is what I did to have it fixed.
