If your key has transponder chip in it,that may be your problem, when a battery drains, like that some time,s your computer loose,s it,s memory of the key chip code in your key.
If you try to start does it makes a sound like a shotgun,if it makes that sound your battery needs a overnite charge, remember the main draw of current ot of the battery when starting comes from the starter,so a flat battery wont turn a starter over, you get say for instance a 622 bosch battery its 12v and its 200 amp/hour and so on.
I just put in a new ignition on my car your car doesn't recognise the ignition so what u need to do is put the key on the on if it doesn't start turn it off for like 10-15 mins then try to turn it over it might attempt to start if it doesn't wait like another 10 mins and it should start
Battery was charged overnight and works fine. I have tried numerous times turning the key over and it won't start. No shotgun sound, no noise at all. Dash lights etc come on....it just won't start.
