how to get the battery cover off

how do I remove the battery cover to put a charger on it

Clips on the backside towards the drivers seat then you need to tilt it up and pull back towards the drivers seat that should do it

There is a red plastic box on the right side of the engine that says "Battery" on the cover. You open that up and there is a bolt in there with the red battery wires that feed the starter. Connect the + side of your battery charger there and the - side of the charger to a bracket on the engine block. You do not need to get directly to the battery to connect the charger or jump start the car.
