I identifying hose

Asked by GuruXM8Y5 Nov 21, 2018 at 05:03 PM about the 2007 Chevrolet Equinox LS FWD

Question type: General

This hose looks like it runs from the top of the
transmission. From what i looked up I'm thinking it
may be a oil cooling hose. But not really sure. The
engine was getting hot right before i pulled over
and checked.  Could any one tell me what this hose
is and if it's relevant to the car getting hot?

If that's comes from the top of the transmission then that is most likely just the breather for the transmission
