Water leaking into the trunk

i would try replacing the trunk seal...these do get dry rot after a bit...hope this helps!!

yeah. Ditto on the trunk seal. If you're really cheap, try massaging some Vaseline into the old trunk seal. That might rejuvenate the olde beast. If this doesn't help, oh well. Good luck.

how do you actually replace the trunk seal? I bought a new seal thinking this is the issue with water collecting in my trunk (where the donut is) but I'm not sure how to replace it. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

if you have changed the taillights.... this might come from there cause the taillight seals gets dry and old, replace this seal taillight, this has happened to me.... and if water still gets in the trunk after all this, just drill 2-3 1/4 inch holes were most of the water ends up!!! haha not always the best solution but the water just flows by

Finally figured it out on my 1994 Integra. After changing out both taillight seals and still having water issues, I decided to take tail lights out after a year and looked closely. I noticed algae in the bottom of one lense. Then checking the top of the tail light closely I found the rubber had separated away from the lense. So every time it rains water exits over the top of the lense and is supposed to just roll off the rear of the car. Instead water is seeping into the tail light and once it reaches the level of the holes in the back of the lense it just flows into the trunk are. REsolved this problem using clear silicone caulk across the top of the lense and no water in the trunk since. There might be a prettier solution available but I was happy to resolve the issue and it's no show car. Still running well with 245K
