2007 chevy impala 3.5L V6 flex fuel, once engine reaches operating temp and been driving in traffic, once in the stopped position I turn the ac on and I get 1 second squeal.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
This 1 second squeal happens only when
the engine is opt temp and I turn ac on and
also when in the stopped position if I turn
the steering wheel without the car rolling
the same 1 second squeal occurs. Belts
are good not crack or have poor tension nor
are they overly tight on tension. What
gives?

When I saw your question I was all ready to say check belt tension...but I see you have that covered..but is the serpentine belt aligned on the pulleys?
and it does not have to be the tensioner pulley..any of them will do it

Ok I could guess possible worn pulleys because the serpentine belt does rest on the idler pulleys and that engine has both smooth and grooved pulleys
