My 2007 Chevy Impala will not turn off. I can take the key and keeps running. What could be the problem

The ignition switch is probably bad.

I have the same damn problem it's not the ignition switch either Cuzco I've replaced it there's a damn cable connected to the back of the ignition that's like a bike speedo cable if u wiggle it either back n forth it will work for 4 or 5 cycles then same problem it's not this round black cable

the key sw is not the igniton sw,it operates the igniton sw under the dash usually mounted on top of the steering column
