So my check engine light came on and I got the
code for missfire and change spark plugs. I have
changed them and out on new wires. Car runs
better but the check engine light is now flashing. Is
that the o2 sensor?

The check engine light should stay on and give you the code stored in the computer's memory. From personal experience: Remove the positive cable on the battery, wait about 5-10 minutes to give time to the computer to clear and reset, then replace the positive wire to the battery and see if the check engine light goes off and stays off.
So I tried that and the check engine light it still flashing. Now the traction control keeps going off
Then, take the car to any auto parts store and they will read the code(s) for free. This is the best way to know what is happening. Do this before you start messing with the car and end up with more head aches. Personal experience.
si the code is still saying missfire in spark plug 5 but i have put new wires and plugs in. (whole set)
