Gas pedal hard to push down

What is wrong with my car when the gas
pedal is hard to push down or it won't go
down?

Its either something wrong with the throttle body or something wrong with the cable running to the throttle body. Disconnect the cable from the throttle body and work the throttle on the throttle body. See if that is stiff or binding. Then see how the cable itself moves freely.
