I just picked my 2006 Audi A4. Drove it home, drove it to dinner. Everything seemed fine. Heading home for dinner and it just dies at the light and I can't get it to start. Its not the battery.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Definitely still has juice but won't
start. I think it could be a fuel pump
problem or maybe a sensor?? Any
suggestions?

First guess would be fuel pump. Second would be Crank Position Sensor. Check your main fuses under the hood. Usually a couple 30 amp or 50 amp fuses. If one of them blows, your car won't start.

so when you try to crank the car does the starter turn the engine or does it do nothing? also when the car is cranking does it sound like its choking or just cranking with no effect? pull a spark plug and smell it for fuel also check the cylinder with some sorta plastic stick or long peice of wood and see if you can get gas on it after a crank. if there is gas then fuel is not an issue spark or air would be.
