how do I disable starter lockout on factory alarm 2007 mustang

okay this is a PATS alarm system...use the spare key...disconnect the battery for a few hours...if this doesn't work...see a dealership~

We could try to disconnect the negative cable....discharge any latent charges by pumpin' the brakes, switchin' the a/c on and off...headlights....high beams...then put the black cable back again...this system works off of proximity of the key to the ignition....draining the latent charges may help it "forget" of a prior "do not start" condition~....with the PATS key nearby~
