according to realoem, there was a change but not entirely sure what. I have a set of M6 wing mirrors but from a post sept' 2005 M6 and it uses only 3 wires in a 4 pin connector, i understand this is for a LIN network type car. I understand the network changed and door modules replaced. I have a BMW 645CI 2005 but before LIN network and would like to retrofit M6 mirrors. Thinking this may be possible with earlier model. There are different part numbers for before and after sept' 2005 but not sure what the changes were. Where can i find out or does someone with earlier M6 know?
