2006 crossfire wont pass emission

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I have a 2006 Chrysler crossfire, runs great. Took it in for emission test, and did not pass because the car computer needed to be reset. I was told by Chrysler that car needed to be driven and it would reset it self. After 200 miles it still wont reset. Any ideas on what to try next.

It has to be highway driving, stop and go traffic, skow speeds and higher speeds for the computer to reset, did you do that???
yes, I did all that. They said this morning that they found a oxygen sensor that was bad. Going to put one in and then see if I can reset computer. Thanks
your car might require a particular drive cycle to reset the monitors in the ECU , check your owners manual or do a google search..

I have 2010Chevy Malibu, Check light is on. Keeps reading ECS off, Serbice ECS. Took it to 2 Mechanics. The first one said it was batter got new battery, then he put it on scanner, still. would not read nothing. Casdged me 300 bucks. OMG, and still no reading. So Itook it to another mechanic. He took out a very bad fuse that was melted in rear defrost. And he finally got a reading. He got check light off, said to run the car, stop and go, so the can reset itself. Which I did. Get back in the car. Start it up. Check light is on. What do i dooo?
