Can you replace a 6 CD player with a single disc CD player on a 2007 Mazda

You can. You can also get an adapter that will allow you to use your steering wheel controls if you wish. It's a 80-100 dollar part. You don't have to use it. However - you will lose the display above your CD player. The ones that says "hello" and tells you the time and temp. Other than that it's a straight forward swap. Get the right install kit with the correct wiring harness and your set.

Thank you for your information. Much appreciated! I will probably look around for the original radio with a 6 disc CD player and keep it stock.
